Where Cisco Multicloud Defense fits
Security-led organisations standardised on Cisco tooling who want NGFW inspection as the centrepiece.
Cisco Multicloud Defense brings Cisco’s firewall heritage to multi-cloud, managed from Security Cloud Control with gateway VMs per cloud. It solves a different problem to Telaron: deep L7 inspection and enforcement. If NGFW is the centrepiece of your design, that is Cisco’s ground, not ours.
Security-led organisations standardised on Cisco tooling who want NGFW inspection as the centrepiece.
Full next-generation firewall enforcement — deep L7 inspection, IPS, and a mature threat-intelligence pipeline behind it. Telaron does not compete here, and does not try to: we offer FQDN egress filtering, known-bad-actor lists, and some L7, with anomaly detection on the roadmap rather than shipped.
