user stories
Four kinds of team, what each is looking for, and what each can get today. The last line of every story is the honest one.
You run services in GCP and AWS, or in several regions of one, and you want one network between them with one policy over it — rather than a peering, a VPN and a firewall rule set per pair of places.
What Telaron is building for you: gateways in each place, joined through a transit cluster, with the same host-level rules enforced wherever a flow lands. The multi-region and multi-cloud blueprints set out that shape.
Today
Not yet. Clusters do not connect to each other, and the AWS integration is not implemented. A single GCP cluster is the whole of what runs.
You want to say which hosts may talk to which, on which ports, and have that enforced on the network path rather than trusted to an agent inside every workload. You want a change staged and cut over on purpose, not applied the moment someone saves it.
What you get: policy as a short YAML document of named hosts and directed rules, allow, deny or log. Versions are stored and inert until activated. Enforcement happens in the gateway’s kernel, so a packet is accepted or dropped without a userspace round-trip.
Today
Authoring, versioning and activation work. Rules name single IPv4 hosts, not subnets. Enforcement needs a running gateway, and there is no way yet to get one into your own project.
You do not want a network that only exists as clicks in a web interface. You want it declared, reviewed and applied the way the rest of your estate is.
What you get: a public REST API that Command Center itself uses, so anything you can click you can script, and API keys that act with the permissions you grant them.
Today
The API works. The Terraform provider has a cluster and a spoke resource and no data sources, and its reference is not yet published. There is no Pulumi SDK yet.
You are not going to run anything until you know what we hold, what we can reach, and what stops one customer seeing another.
Today
All four hold now. The architecture page and the GCP setup guide say how, in enough detail to check rather than take on trust.
